Tracheal noise: the normal sound that is generated at the level of the trachea. It is heard throughout inspiration and expiration. They listen to apply the stethoscope over the trachea in the neck.
Tracheobronchial noise: it is similar to tracheal noise, but less intense. It auscultation ahead, at the level of the first and second intercostal space and behind, in the interscapular region.
Pulmonary murmur is a low frequency noise and intensity, and corresponds to the sound that makes it to the chest wall, generated in the larger bronchi, after the filter exerted by the lung. It is heard throughout inspiration and the first half of expiration over much of the projection of the lungs in the chest area.
