Wormian bones or bones Sutural

They are among the bones of the skull and can be:

Wormian bones true : When you develop abnormal ossification points, usually found in the sutures and fontanelle or embedded in a (island) part.

Wormian bones false : They are developed normal ossification points that remain independent.

You can also classified as:

- Island , if included within the bone.

- Sutural , if they are in a suture.

- Fontanélicos if they are in the soft spots.
